Covering 1.3 square kilometers, the site includes several east-west-aligned city sites with walls, gates and corner towers. Surveys uncovered remains of high platform buildings and cultural deposits showing long-term human activity. The team used ground surveys, RTK technology, probe shafts, UAV aerial mapping and profile cleaning. Researchers said cooperation will continue in urban layout studies, excavation of key buildings, multidisciplinary research and digital site protection.
